Normally I would restore the backup onto the phone, get the photos out, and then reset the phone again, but this iPhone 8 is now being actively used for work so I can't mess with it in the slightest (plus I think iOS 13 is too old now to be put back onto a device?) The backup was taken on March 2020, which means that it is most likely some version of iOS 13.
