I know you have the problem solved so this isn't useful for this specific situation. In MultiMC edit instance, go to Version screen and select the Minecraft entry in the list. Move extracted Optifine to instance libraries folder (C:mcMultiMCinstances1.13libraries) 4. That will take you right to where you need to be to open your mods folder in windows like normal. Navigate to MultiMC instance you wish to install OptiFine into (C:mcMultiMCinstances1.13.minecraft) 3. Bottom right should have something similar to "Open Folder". In that "Loader Mods" tab, you should also see some options on the far right of that window. The easiest way is to open your preferred file explorer (mosy like Windows Explorer), navigate to where you downloaded the mod, and you can drag and drop the mod out of that folder, directly into the blank space of the "Loader mods" tab in the small MultiMC window. ![]() This will show you all mods installed to that specific version in MultiMC. In the window that pops up, you can look to your left and click on the "Loader mods" tab. In multiMC, you can right click on the version you want to run and click "Edit Instance". Instructions on installing OptiFine with MultiMC can be found on MultiMCs wiki. ![]() From there, simply put both OptiFabric.jar and OptiFine.jar into your mods folder, similarly to Forge. They were trying to get you to check your instance I believe. When using Fabric, you will also need to install OptiFabric in addition to OptiFine. ![]()
